Rebecca Johns Finalist for Hemingway Foundation/PEN Award

In a recent announcement from PEN New England and the JFK Presidential Library, Iowa Writers' Workshop graduate Rebecca Johns was named a finalist for the 2007 Hemingway Foundation/PEN Award for her novel Icebergs. The late Mary Hemingway, the wife of Ernest Hemingway, founded the Hemingway Foundation/PEN Award in 1976 to honor her late husband and draw attention to distinguished first books of fiction.
