Iowa City’s Prairie Lights selected as a “Destination Bookstore”

Thanks to Iowa City's vibrant literary scene, inspired in part by the Iowa Writers' Workshop, Prairie Lights Bookstore (in downtown Iowa City) made the AP list of Nine Destination Bookstores 'worth putting on a tourist's itinerary'. Prairie Lights was lauded for its relationship to the writing history of the University of Iowa, as well as its ability to bring a multitude of authors to the store for free public readings.
