John D’Agata

John D'Agata holds degrees from both the Iowa Writers' Workshop and the UI Nonfiction Writing Program; he's now a member of the Nonfiction Writing Program faculty. The editor of lyric essays for the Seneca Review, he is also the author of the essay collection Halls of Fame and editor of The Next American Essay. He was a finalist for the 2003 PEN/Martha Albrand Award for Nonfiction, and a recipient of a 2008 creative writing fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts.
