Swedish critic and fiction writer Steve Sem-Sandberg reads his essay, “In Another Part of the City.” In this piece, the author pursues the identity of the post-modern city, and how society can locate meaning and morality within. Finnish fiction writer Esa Saviola reads an essay titled, “Clichés and Beyond,"in which he posits that cliches are unavoidable elements of communication. He defines cliché broadly, as an expression that fulfills the reader’s expectations, and examines the meaning and the loss of meaning inherent in these expressions.
