Michael Zeller, Mahmoud Abu Hashhash, Cristian Gomez Reading
This is the first Shambaugh House reading hosted by the IWP. Christopher Merrill introduces the readers. Michael Zeller is the first speaker and begins by reading some of his poems. Zeller reads some of his poems in German. Mahmoud Abu Hashhash reads his poems in Arabic and English; during Hashhash’s reading and throughout the remainder of the recording, the picture has a line through it. Cristian Gomez is the third and final poet who speaks. Gomez reads his poems in Spanish and English.
