Creative Imagination in Writing
This panel discussion deals wtih imagination, fantasty and creativity in writing. Celso Campos Román begins by talking about the writer’s obligation to imagination and reads an essay he has written on the topic. Andrés Sorel reads his essay in Spanish which is then translated into English. He defines fantasy as something unreal, not of this world. Jaroslav Veis discusses science fiction and its attempts to be considered serious literature. Syl Cheney Coker reads an essy entitled “Magic Realism.”
