| There is more to a golf swing than meets the eye! In this session, venture out to the “lab” at Finkbine, where you will learn about the mechanics of what goes into a good swing. Break down the process and review the grip, posture, ball alignment, and motion necessary to enhance your game. Beginners and experienced golfers alike are welcome in this session!
Instructor: Jim Dickerson is a PGA of America golf professional, and Director of Golf Education for the Golf For Injured Veterans Everywhere (GIVE) program. GIVE provides a structured golf program to enhance mental, social, physical and emotional well-being and improve quality of life for veterans with a variety of ailments, including amputees, paraplegics and those with post-traumatic stress syndrome. Dickerson was Cornell’s head golf coach for 13 years, and has been a PGA teacher at UI’s Finkbine Golf Course for 14 years. $20 per person Note: Due to the nature of this course, there are additional expenses for golf balls, instruction, etc. | |
