Learn the art form that kept audiences captivated watching legends such as Fred Astaire, Sammy Davis Junior and Shirley Temple. In this class, you will learn basic tap steps, technique and some short routines. One-on-one instruction, as well as group direction, will help you make correct sounds and become a rhythmic unit of dancers.

INSTRUCTOR: Linsey Abbott, OLLI program assistant, taught various forms of dance for 5 years in her hometown of Oregon, IL. Tap dance, in particular, has always been a passion of hers, and she is excited to share this experience with OLLI members.
